Ministries

New Life Music & Arts Ministry creates an atmosphere of worship that invokes the habitation of God, and brings all men to give Him uninhibited praise. At NL you will experience a culturally diverse congregation giving exuberant praise and heartfelt worship, with a diversity of music styles.

Role Models of America

Role Models of America is the ministry platform for women of New Life Christian Fellowship. RMA provides the leadership for women in ministry, plus practical lessons for family life and personal spiritual growth.

Kidtricity is a place where our children’s faith, imagination, and learning go hand in hand.  Combined with creative small group experiences where children learn the Bible, kids have so much fun with friends while learning Biblical truths and discovering how much God loves them; that they beg to come back the next week!

Youth Ministry (LITs: 9th -12th & Spark: 6th-8th) is every effort by NL to reach out to the youth with the love of God as revealed to us in Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit.  This is a means for both junior high and high school students to grow as individuals while exploring ideas, values, and faith within the context of a supportive community of peers and adults.  Church-wide we strive to provide a variety of opportunities and experiences to draw teens into active, responsible participation in the life, mission, and work of the faith here at NL. The Youth Pastoral Staff seeks to help youth share their gifts, grow in life skills, develop a positive self-image, develop respect for differences, serve those in need, participate in hands on ministry, develop a personal spirituality and prayer life, and develop a personal relationship with Jesus.  Our Youth Ministry is designed to help spiritually train and equip teens in a fun and Godly atmosphere to the Glory of God.

T.O.R.C.H.(Taking Our Relationship with Christ Higher) is made of college students, young married couples, young professionals, and those who are still trying to figure out what is next in there life. Some have young children, some are just out of high school, and some are out of college.

Our Sister’s Heart meets the second Thursday of each month.  This group is designed for the mature adult woman who maybe single, divorced or widowed.  The events vary from month to month from a dinner out on the town with the ladies, to a simply fellowship at someone’s home, to a movie or game night and it’s all centered around encouraging one another in the Word of God and along life’s journey.

The Men's Fellowship focuses on the transformation of the hearts of men.  Resulting in Godly men and becoming disciples for Christ and living a victorious life impacting their community and being strengthened by other Godly men to become the leaders God intended them to be.

NL Family Assistance is to model the love and compassion of Jesus Christ by providing food to the hungry and the needy in our community. We are able to do so by a volunteer staff using food that is donated by the members of NL and the community.  In conjunction with RMA, our thrift store, we are able to help families who are in need of clothing, baby items, furniture, shoes and health and beauty items through our voucher system.  All appointments are handled by the NL office.

Prayer is an ever present and continual at NL.  Our 7:14 Prayer Meeting is held on Tuesday night from 7:14 to 8:14.  In our corporate prayer meeting, everyone is welcome to come before the throne of God and help present the need of prayer requests that are received on a daily basis.  At NL we believe that PRAYER does change things.

2 Chronicles 7:14 - …if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

A safe place for people struggling with hurts, habits, and hang-ups. The purpose of this Celebrate Recovery Step Class is to fellowship and celebrate God's healing power in our lives through the eight recovery principles found in the Beatitudes and Christ-Centered 12 Steps. This experience allows us to be changed. We open the doors to victory and hope in our lives. In addition, we become willing to accept God's grace in solving our life problems.

By working the Christ-Centered Steps and applying their Biblical Principles, we begin to grow spiritually. Getting rid of the hurts, habits and hang-ups allow us to become free from our complusive, dysfunctional and addictive behaviors. This freedom creates peace, serenity, joy, and most importantly, a stronger personal relationship with God and others. As we progress through the principles and the steps, we discover our personal, loving, and forgiving Jesus Christ!

Celebrate Recovery

Our Guest Ministry exists for the purpose of first impressions; offering a smooth and informative transition from the outside world to our church home.  At New Life our visitors, guests and members alike are honored, greeted and welcomed through a variety of services that seek to provide comfort, peace, safety and information to a hurting world.

Three Goals of Guest Ministries:

  • We Welcome Guests!  Whether helping people find a parking place, greeting guests with an open door and a smile, or handing them a worship bulletin, the Guest Ministries team is always there to make our guests feel welcome.  We know that a guest’s first impression will be a lasting one. At New Life, our front door is wide and welcoming to every guest we encounter.
  • We Welcome Members and Regular Attendees!  It’s important to let our family and community know we are glad they are here.  That’s why we greet them with the same warmth and sincerity we show to our guests.
  • We Provide Information and Assistance!  Our team knows where each class and ministry is located, where people can find restrooms, and who on staff can help them with any questions they might have.

The Security Department’s primary function is to provide a tranquil environment for the members, Pastors, staff and volunteers. They are responsible for securing the exterior and interior of the church and maintaining order during all major church activities.

Our Multimedia department is broken down into three groups; Sound, Teleprompter and Video.  The Sound group is in charge of sound system in the church. They are committed to making sure that there is a good and balanced sound during every part of a service or an event.  The Teleprompters supports the significant efforts of several of our other ministry departments to use media for effective ministry, particularly in our corporate worship services.  They help project songs during praise and worship and scriptures during all church services and are responsible for the maintaining the weekly announcements.  Our video group streams live, records and edits services for the internet.  Documenting different events and outreaches allows everyone to see the dramatic impact that New Life is having in the community and in the Kingdom of God.
